This wallpaper is based on the Ponymaker font by Xerographer fonts.
When I saw this series of paper cutout-style illustrations by Eiko Ojala, I knew I had to make a home screen out of one of them. I'd also been itching to try out a more text-based layout that could work on most wallpapers.
I wanted to make a homescreen based around a piece of art, keeping its theme and aesthetic while still trying to make it functional. I chose Wayne Thiebaud's "Supine Woman" as a base, and used UCCW widget to create a homescreen around it.
I'm all for the Windows Phone tiled aesthetic, and the fact that your most-used apps are present as decorative squares (rather than icons) in your homescreen, except I'm not such a fan of the flat designs.
